Itinerary
Welcome to the beautiful land of Sikkim!
🚙 On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Junction railway station (NJP) or Siliguri, meet our representative and begin your picturesque drive to Gangtok.
Enjoy a scenic journey along the Teesta River and complete entry formalities at Rangpo, the gateway to Sikkim.
Upon arrival in Gangtok:
* Check-in at the hotel
* Enjoy lunch
* Relax and freshen up
🌆 In the evening, take a leisurely walk at MG Marg , the heart of Gangtok – perfect for café hopping, shopping, and soaking in the hill town vibe (own cost).

After an early breakfast, proceed towards Lachen , a peaceful mountain village nestled in North Sikkim.
Today’s drive is one of the most scenic routes in the Eastern Himalayas — expect dramatic mountain roads, waterfalls, and pristine valleys.
En Route Sightseeing to Lachen:
💦 Seven Sisters Waterfalls – A spectacular multi-stream waterfall cascading down rocky cliffs
🌊 Naga Falls – A powerful waterfall ideal for photography
🏔️ Bhim Nala Falls – One of the tallest waterfalls in the region
You will arrive at Lachen by late afternoon, where you will check in to your cozy mountain hotel 🏨. The evening will be free for you to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude.

Early wake-up and take a hefty breakfast 🍳 for the full day adventure.
Proceed towards the breathtaking Gurudongmar Lake (5,183 meters), one of the highest lakes in the world.
Drive via the stunning Thangu Valley , a high-altitude cold desert region surrounded by snow peaks.
At Gurudongmar:

Reach Lachung by afternoon. 🍽️ Take lunch at hotel. After lunch, check-out and proceed towards Lachung (Approx. 3-4 hours).
Enjoy beautiful mountain drive along the Lachung Chu River . Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure to relax and unwind.

After early breakfast, proceed to the enchanting Yumthang Valley , famously known as the “Valley of Flowers”.
Located at approx. 3,500 meters, Yumthang is known for: Alpine meadows • Rhododendron blooms (seasonal) • Snow-capped Himalayan peaks • Flowing Lachung Chu River
📸 Enjoy free time for photography and nature walks.
Optional Excursions:

After breakfast 🍳:
Check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Gangtok .

Check in to your hotel and enjoy a delicious lunch. Take some time to relax and freshen up after the long journey.
Evening is free to relax and unwind. Alternatively, you may visit nearby market for shopping and local experiences.

Wake up to your final morning in the serene hills of Gangtok. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast while soaking in the last views of the surrounding mountains.
After breakfast 🍳:
Checkout and begin your scenic drive back towards the plains via Rangpo, retracing the beautiful Teesta River valley route. The journey offers one last opportunity to admire the lush green hills, winding mountain roads, and flowing river views that made your trip so memorable.
You may take short halts en route for refreshments, 📷photography, or tea breaks (time permitting).
🚉 Drop at NJP Railway Station.

🚗 Vehicle Type: Non-AC Sumo / Bolero or similar vehicle will be provided for the entire tour (suitable for 7–8 passengers).
All transfers including pick-up, drop, and sightseeing will be arranged strictly as per the planned itinerary and schedule.

🔄 Itinerary Flexibility
The itinerary is a planned schedule and may be modified, altered, or rearranged due to weather conditions, road closures, landslides, government restrictions, operational requirements, or any other circumstances beyond the control of MILES TO GO. No compensation shall be payable for such changes.
🌪️ Force Majeure Clause
MILES TO GO shall not be held liable for any delay, alteration, cancellation, or interruption of services arising from acts of God, natural calamities, adverse weather, landslides, political disturbances, strikes, flight/train cancellations, technical issues, or any unforeseen events beyond human control.
💰 Refund Policy
Refunds, if applicable, shall be processed only after deducting actual expenses incurred, including but not limited to hotel bookings, transport arrangements, permits, administrative charges, and third-party services. No refund shall be applicable for unused services or early departures.
💸 Additional Expenses
Any additional expenses incurred due to unforeseen situations such as natural disasters, road blockages, vehicle breakdowns, medical emergencies, or government-imposed restrictions shall be borne solely by the guests and paid on the spot.
📑 Payment Terms
A 40% advance payment is mandatory at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining balance amount must be cleared by Day 2 afternoon of the tour. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of services without refund.

MILES TO GO acts only as a tour facilitator and shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, theft, illness, or inconvenience caused during the tour due to reasons beyond its control.
🪪 Permits & Documentation
All guests must carry valid government-issued photo identification and required permits. Failure to produce valid documents may lead to denial of entry at certain locations, for which MILES TO GO shall not be held responsible.
👥 Tour Participation
Guests are expected to follow local laws, customs, and instructions given by tour leaders or authorities. Any misconduct, violation, or behavior causing disruption may result in removal from the tour without any refund.
