Day 1 :

Before leaving Dirang, you will visit the peaceful Dirang Monastery, offering beautiful views of the valley below. Continuing the drive, you will visit Jaswant Garh, a memorial dedicated to the brave soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat, located amidst scenic mountain surroundings. You will drive to Bumla Pass, located at the Indoโ€“China border, where you can experience the dramatic landscapes and historical significance of the region, subject to permit and weather conditions. On the return journey, you will visit Madhuri Lake, also known as Sungester Lake, a serene alpine lake maintained by the Indian Army and surrounded by stark mountain scenery.
