8-Day Tour Package Itinerary for Kerala

Day 1 :COCHIN ARRIVAL

Arrive at Cochin Airport / Railway Station and transfer to the city Hotel. Then proceed for sightseeing. Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church (Vasco da Gama Church), Dutch Palace, St. Francis Basilica, Chinese fishing Nets, Marian Drive, Lulu Mall (Asia’s biggest Mall) etc are the major sightseeing sports. Back to the Hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2 :COCHIN – MUNNAR

After breakfast check out of the Hotel and transfer to Munnar. This destination is situated about 1600m above sea level, the hill station had been the summer resort of the British Government during the colonial era. On the way stop at Cheeyyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check-in at the Hotel. Overnight in Hotel / Resort.

Day 3 :MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake. Afternoon visit the Tea Museum and Blossom Garden. Evening time for a bit of shopping. Overnight in Hotel / Resort.

Day 4 :MUNNAR – THEKKADY

After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. By afternoon proceed to Periyar Lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). Check-in at Hotel. You can recreate yourself by having Optional activities like Spice Plantation Tour, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant ride (On Direct Payment). Overnight in Hotel / Resort.

Day 5 :THEKKADY – ALLEPPEY

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey. Check-in at Hotel / Houseboat. Enjoy the panoramic view of the vast stretches of the paddy fields, Backwaters & Canals, and exotic natural surroundings of the villages (If stay in houseboat). Overnight in Hotel / Houseboat.

Day 6 :ALLEPPEY – KOVALAM

After breakfast, proceeds to Kovalam, a small coastal town in South India. Check-in at the Hotel. Enjoy the day at the world-famous Kovalam Beach Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 :KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI – KOVALAM

After breakfast early morning proceed for Full Day trip to Kanyakumari. Visit Vivekananda rock, temples, sunset point, museum, Thiruvalluvar statue etc. Overnight at Kovalam hotel.

Day 8 :KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM – DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and proceed for Trivandrum City tour. Visit the famous Sree Padmanabha Temple, Trivandrum Zoo, Napier Museum, Shanghumugham Beach, Veli lake village etc. Later, drop by Trivandrum Railway Station / Airport for departure.
